I can settle for an occasional buffer for few seconds, I am from the 90s, after all, but it happens way often and way often than on Chrome, well, it pretty much never happens on Chrome. Now the video freezes but audio remains fine and I need to pause/play to unfreeze it. And I also think it works worse than it used to. And it is since Twitch on Chrome works way better and I am forced to use Chrome when I wanna browse Firefox on the other screen when watching something because Twitch on Firefox works pretty bad. I have an old laptop with i7 740qm and that laptop is no longer enough for basic usage.īut also this is very easy to test if it's Firefox's fault. I mean let's not make it an extreme case but browser, videos, streams and such should work all right on a 4-5 years old laptop which was medium/high tier when bought.
